Total Piping & Mechanical (TPM) endeavours to conduct its activities in a manner that is environmentally responsible and sustainable. TPM’s operations are carried out to protect the health of employees, trainees, customers, contractors, and the community, while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental protection and sustainable management. TPM is dedicated to protecting the environment in all its activities.
Primary Goal
The primary goal of this Environmental Policy and its associated procedures is to assist in maintaining the highest environmental standards.
Objectives
- Meet and exceed all legal and regulatory requirements for environmental management and protection. Where such requirements are lacking or insufficient, apply best-practice standards to ensure the environment is protected.
- Maintain awareness within TPM’s activities of the responsibilities of employees, contractors, and stakeholders in ensuring environmental protection.
- Regularly review TPM’s operations to identify and assess environmental impacts associated with those activities.
- Implement and maintain management systems, processes, programs, and procedures that protect the environment – including the control of waste discharge, emissions, or any other potentially hazardous conditions that may cause environmental harm.
- Provide an environmental emergency response program for unforeseen events to minimise risk to people, facilities, and assets.
- Provide environmental training for employees, staff, visitors, and affected people where applicable.
TPM’s commitment to the environment is as important as its commitment to all other aspects of the organisation’s activities. The company will report on its environmental performance to the relevant authorities as required.
This policy and its associated procedures will be reviewed in consultation with relevant parties whenever there are changes or amendments to legislation – and at least once every twelve (12) calendar months from the date of issue.
